KARACHI: Emirates has won the Airline of the Year 2000 award Ñ the result of worldwide poll among frequent travellers, conducted by OAG Worldwide. The OAG Travel awards are the air transport industry's premier global awards, which are voted for by travellers themselves.

This is Emirates third successive victorious year, and the airline's fourth Airline of the Year title. It is also the second time in the 17-year history of the OAG Travel Awards that any carrier has won the title for the three years in a row:
