Guwar prices up,

wheat down

on grain markets

KARACHI: Some grain varieties underwent changes on the seed and grain markets along with variations in general, wheat and cottonseed cakes.

Guwar down only a day before, rose modestly by Rs 28 to Rs 1876 and better type rose by Rs 26 to Rs 1902.

Wheat also lost Rs 5 both types to Rs 945 and Rs 955. Cotton seed cakes better type shed Rs 5 to Rs 340.

On the grain side Australia was quoted at Rs 2000 to Rs 2050, grain garda rose by Rs 20 to Rs 2050 and better type up by Rs 10 to Rs 2080, dal yellow peas was noted at Rs 2120 and Rs 2175, beetle I was quoted at Rs 2135 to Rs 2200.

Irri-9 ( Sindh was better type was quoted at Rs 1025.
