Encroachment to be

removed from city

KARACHI: Worn vehicles bodies and encroachment from bus stops will be removed from all five districts of the city.

This was decided in a meeting presided over by the Commissioner Karachi, Shafiqur Rehman Paracha here on Wednesday. It was also decided that SDMs and SHOs of the respective areas would implement the decision.

The meeting reviewed car snatching/theft situation and decided that liaison between car show rooms, motor vehicles department and police would be improved to control mentioned incidents.

It was decided that Chowkidari System would be made effective and arms licences be issued to chowkidars.

The meeting expressed satisfaction over law and order situation in the city.ÑAPP
