Five LHC Pindi bench judges sworn-in

RAWALPINDI: Five judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench took oath under PCO-1 here on Wednesday.

Those who took oath included Justice Mohammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Fakir Mohammad Khokar, Justice Abdul Razzaq Sheikh, Justice Mumtaz Ali Mirza and Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.

Punjab Senior Minister Akhtar Saeed as a nominee of the Punjab governor administered the oath to the judges in a simple ceremony held here at the Punjab House.

Besides Assistant Advocate General Raja Saeed Akram, Standing Counsel Sajjad Hussain Shah a number of senior members of the High Court Bar Association were also present on the occasion.ÑAPP
