5 BHC judges take oath

QUETTA: All the five judges of Balochistan High Court including Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry were administered oath under Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) here on Wednesday morning.

Balochistan Governor Justice Amirul Mulk Mengal (Retd) administered the oath at a simple ceremony held at Governor House. The other four judges who took oath included Mr Justice Jawed Iqbal, Mr Justice Amanullah Yasinzai, Mr Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Mr Justice Fazlur Rehman.

Quetta Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Mushtaq Hussain, provincial ministers, Balochistan Advocate General Mohammad Ashraf Tanoli and High Court Bar Association President Hadi Shakeel Ahmed and senior government officials were also present.ÑAPP
