Jodia Bazar traded

on overnight levels

KARACHI: Commodities on Jodia Bazar were traded at overnight levels with volume remaining somewhat high on Tuesday.

Variations were not many but some transpired in chemicals, dyes and kirana.

Chemicals: Formic acid from Germany rose by 40 paisa to Rs 51. Oxalic acid China rose by 50 paisa to Rs 32. Citric acid China was up by Re 1 to Rs 64. Petroleum Jelly white Iran dropped Re 1 to Rs 55 and Petroleum Jelly China shed same amount to Rs 56. PVA Japan rose by Rs 2 to Rs 118. Sitara caustic soda flakes rose by 25 paisa to Rs 25.25. Rangolite "C" China was up by same amount to Rs 58. Hydrosulphite China 88 percent was up by 50 paisa to Rs 58 and from Germany dropped Re 1 to Rs 130. Acetic acid Taiwan was up by 50 paisa to Rs 42 and hydrogen peroxide 35 percent Taiwan rose by ten paisa to Rs 21. Dyes: Formaton Taiwan blue FFG was up by Re 1 to Rs 115 and green FBH dropped Re 1 to Rs 206.

Kirana: Black pepper rose by Rs 100 to Rs 14,700. Mace rose by Rs 400 to Rs 32,800. Small cardamom from Tanzania was up by Rs 3,200 to Rs 20,000. Big cardamom was up by Rs 1,300 to Rs 18,700. Cloves dropped Rs 500 to Rs 1,110. Dry ginger from China dropped Rs 50 to Rs 2,750. Isbaghol Bhoosi shed Rs 100 to Rs 700. Cuminseed dropped Rs 50 to Rs 3,950.

Almond Irani dropped Rs 200 to Rs 7,600. Dry dates was quoted at Rs 1,800.
