KARACHI: The out going Indian President of the Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Saarc-CCI), Kantikumar R.Podar, who handed over charge to Male, (Maldives) on completion of two years in office has thanked Anwar ul Haque, Secretary General, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry for his "wholehearted support and co-operation" during his tenure as Saarc chamber president.

In a letter he has recounted efforts of Saarc-CCI which was able to organize several meetings in all the Saarc countries and important cities and, establish contacts with heads of state or government, foreign ministers and commerce ministers and officials.

The Saarc Chamber also organized various conferences addressed by high-ranking dignitaries, where the discussions were very stimulating and rewarding, Podar said and added that all this has been possible because of the advice, guidance, willing support and cooperation received from you."
