Mengal sets up three bodies to resolve Marri feud

QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party (BNP) led by former chief minister Sardar Ataullah Mengal has constituted three committees to seek a possible solution to the tribal problem emerging from the assassination of senior judge Balochistan High Court Mr. Justice Mir Nawaz Bijrani Marri and arrest of tribal chief Nawab Khair Bukhsh Marri.
The senior judge was murdered recently in broad-day light on main avenue Zarghoon.
The relatives of the later Mir Nawaz Marri in the FIR have accused Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri and his five sons of murdering the judge on some tribal feud.
On the basis of FIR Nawab Marri was arrested and remanded in CIA custody for 14 days. His case would come up before the Special Judge, ATC, Rozee Khan Braach, here in the last week of this month.
Meanwhile, the three committees constituted by Sardar Ataullah Mengal would try to find amicable solution to this serious problems outside the court in accordance with the customs, conventions and tribal traditions.
One committee is chared by Mengal tribal chief Sardar Ataullah Mengal, another by suspended senator Habibullah Baloch and third by Jehanzeb Baloch.
