EFA sub-regional chief
LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development Ms. Shaheen Atiq-ur-Rehman has been elected as sub-regional chief Education For All (EFA) for the year 2000.
She was elected in international conference on "Education For All", organised by Unicef, Unesco, Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, held at Bangkok in which 44 ministers from various countries of South Asia region, participated, says a press release. APP
