Mourners killed

MUZAFFARABAD: Three people were killed, 18 others seriously wounded by Indian artillery shelling on a funeral procession in Mohra Dhroti frontier village of Nakial sector of district Kotli and on a private jeep at Lasva in Neelum Valley on Saturday evening, police said.
Those killed were identified as Umer Din (60), son of Sahib Din, Mohammed Mushtaq (35), son of Abdul, residents of Mohra Dhroti,and Abdul Hammed, son of Sher Mohammed, resident of village Olipunjni.
The injured were admitted in hospitals at Nakial and Kotri.
Till last report, unprovoked Indian shelling was continued.
Another three persons were seriously wounded when trigger-happy Indian troops fired a volley of bullets with automatic machine guns on a passenger jeep which was on its way to Aathmuqam on Saturday evening.
Those injured were identified as Mohammed Nisar, Mohammed Khurshid and Mohammed Aslam. They were admitted in MDS Chimber.
GIRL KILLED: In Tatapani sector of southern district Kotli, a 12 year-old girl identified as Naheema Akthar, daughter of Mehar Mohammed, was fatally wounded when Indian army fired rockets from across the LoC on the civilian population on Saturday.
Another villager was also wounded by Indian shooting with mortars and automatic machine guns from across the LoC on Kakota village of southern sector Abbaspur of district Rawalakot on Saturday.
