Dyes, kirana, dry fruits undergo changes on Jodia Bazar
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: A couple of sectors underwent changes on the Jodia Bazar on Saturday where volume of business remained large ahead of weekly closure on Sunday.
Significant variations were in dyes and Kirana items.
Dyes: Bases China Red RC rose by Rs 5 to Rs 175, Indian blue B base dropped Rs 25 to Rs 450. Formaton Taiwan blue FFG was down by Rs 3 to Rs 114. Korea dyes Lumacel black BB was up by Rs 5 to Rs 240. Lumacel Heliotrope was also up by Rs 5 to Rs 340. Basic colours: Basic brown was down by Rs 3 to Rs 85. Sulphur dyes: China sulphur 501 was quoted at Rs 35 and blue BRN lost Re 1 to Rs 83. Sulphur Boreaux dropped Rs 2 to Rs 88. Reactive dyes: India orange H2R rose by Rs 5 to Rs 210. Acrylic dyes: Red 3R 175 percent was down by Rs 10 to Rs 200 and yellow 7GL 350 percent lost Rs 15 to Rs 360.
Kirana: Big cardamom rose by Rs 200 to Rs 17,400. Cloves rose sharply by Rs 2,100 to Rs 11,600. Gum gogal was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2,600. Long pepper was up by Rs 500 to Rs 9,000. Isbaghol bhoosi rose by Rs 300 to Rs 7,100. Sago was up by Rs 20 to Rs 1,020. Tamarind shed Rs 800 to Rs 1,520.
Dry fruits: Almond katha was up by Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,700. Almond girdi was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1,650. Almond Irani rose by Rs 300 to Rs 7,800. Kaghzi II was up by Rs 200 to Rs 2,600. Walnut in shell II rose by Rs 150 to Rs 1,800. Walnut Kernal was up by Rs 600 to Rs 5,600. Apricot I was quoted higher at Rs 2,400. Dates semi-dry was up by Rs 400 to Rs 2,000.
