200 official promoted in NBP

KARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) on Saturday promoted over 200 employees from Officer Grade-II to Grade-I, Grade-III to Grade-II and senior assistant to Officer Grade-III for Islamabad Region.

In this connection, a Promotion Letter's Distribution Ceremony was held at NBP, Zonal Office, Islamabad and the Regional Chief Executive Malik Mohammad Hameed, awarded the Promotion Letters to the concerned Officers.

Addressing the participants, Hameed said, Honesty and dedication to his duties is the hall-mark of a banker and NBP staff is rightly fulfilling these parameters. He said the bank has started a campaign to identify talent for proper utilisation of the workforce.

He urged the participants to devote most of their time in strategic thinking for improving bank's performance. He also desired a change of culture in the Bank in order to have an easy access to the clients in the changed environment. He also disclosed, that Management of NBP has implemented various progressive policies and schemes, which have been responsible for turning around the Bank making it most progressive and profit earning public sector bank in Pakistan.

Earlier, NBP, Zonal Chief, Islamabad, Mohammad Farooq Saleem, in his welcome address expressed the hope that the officers and staff of NBP will put-up maximum efforts for increase of assets and profit, in future, with much zeal.
