450 gm heroin recovered, two held

KARACHI: The Pakistan Customs Drug Enforcement staff on Saturday arrested two drug traffickers, one male and a female, and recovered 450 gm white heroin powder concealed in their body cavities.

The arrested were identified as Fatimata Issa, Malienne, and Ismaila Shittu, Nigerian. They were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for radiological examination. Upon confirmation they were subjected to medical procedure and excreted 24 and 28 capsules respectively.

The accused have been booked under Customs Act 1969.
