KARACHI: Wild Wild East Inc,USA, an IT company set up by Pakistanis settled in America has decided to establish a Karachi Info-Laboratory shortly.

Speaking at a press conference held at a local hotel in Karachi on Saturday. President of Wild Wild East, Inc. Amer Mufti said that as a seed money, an investment of half a million dollars would be made in the information related business with a view to promoting information technology in Pakistan.

He said Wild Wild East would launch its web site in Pakistan with a prime objective of providing various services including information about science, health and entertainment across Pakistan.

He said there existed tremendous potential in Pakistan in the field of information technology and added that Pakistan had immense talent in this field. In this context, he said the in leading IT companies including Microsoft, Intel and IBM, a large number of Pakistanis, Indians, and Sri-Lankans was working there on the managerial level.

He said Wild Wild East Inc had already acquired land in Karachi, Lahore and other parts of the country to start IT business in a big way.

He said the company would also provide assistance to the users regarding the problems occurred in transactions of business through e-commerce.

He said we came to know that there were instances of misuse of credit cards as far as e-business in Pakistan was concerned and added that an amicable solutions to the problems being faced by the businessmen and industrialists would be made by the company.

Earlier, Director, Marketing Sohail Mirza and Director Technology Tahir Mufti of Wild Wild East also spoke at the press conference.
