MULTAN: Three passengers were killed and another 12 injured, three of them in precarious condition as a Multan-bound wagon dashed against a tractor-trolley when its tyre burst near Naiwala Tibba, six kilometres from Muzaffargarh.

According to details, a wagon coming from D G Khan with 18 passengers at 0500 a.m. on Friday, reached near Naiwala Tibba (Basira) its front wheel tyre burst and rammed into a parked trolley resulting which Muhammad Nadeem (32) son of Noor Muhammad (D G Khan), Hina d/o Dilal (4) and Rehmatullah son of Bismillah Jan (Quetta 30) were killed on the spot while 12 persons including Muhammad Khalil (35) Muhammad Khan, Khalid Hussain. Hajira w/o Bilal, Hashim, Amna Bibi w/o Mureed Hussain, and a cleaner Muhammad Jamil injured. Wagon driver escaped from the scene.
