DRCS to build 200-bed hospital in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The District Red Crescent Society will build a 200-bed hospital in Faisalabad, the city ad said.

Chairing a meeting here on Thursday Hasan Nawaz Tarar, Deputy Commissioner, reviewed the blue prints of the hospital and directed concerned departments to remove encroachments from the proposed hospital site.

Tarar has given 15-day to complete task to remove encroachment and to clear site from old debris at the site.

The hospital will be completed in two phases.

In the initial phase, it will have 60-beds.

A five-member project committee was also constituted to implement the project. The deputy commissioner hoped that the committee will undertake the project with utmost responsibility and sincerity.

"Donations for the hospital should also be utilised with full care and honesty," he added.

The deputy commissioner has appealed to all to donate generously for the project.
