KARACHI: A leader of the Sindh Muslim League has demanded arrangement for live coverage of the proceedings in the October 12 plane conspiracy case and the case filed against the dissolution of Nawaz Sharif's government.

In a statement on Monday, vice president of the Sindh Muslim League, Ejaz Shafi, said that he had requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to order the government for arranging live coverage of both the case as more than 140 million Pakistanis would want to watch the proceedings of these cases.

Shafi said that the TV coverage of these cases would help people to know the merit of the cases and the transparency being maintained by the courts in dealing with these two cases.

He said the TV coverage would increase public confidence in the judiciary and inform people of the facts and merit of the cases.
