QUETTA: Power supply to Pishin area, some 50 km off here, was disrupted following a fire that broke out in the grid station on Sunday morning.

According to a Qesco spokesman, power supply was, however, restored to Pishin town through alternative arrangements while the repair work would be completed by the evening.

He said the low tension side of the high tension bus bar caught fire due to some technical fault as a result of which power supply from six feeders was affected.

Enquiry has also been ordered into the incident, he added.ÑAPP
