Jodia Bazar remains sluggish
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Trading on Jodia Bazar remained sluggish and traders did not expect usual trading before Monday next.
The traders said there was no life in trading as money problem on buyers part appears to have been restraining normal trading.
The plight of proceedings can be seen from the variations in tea and dyes.
Teas from Kenya and Bangladesh registered a setback while China green went up. Kenyan tea PF-I A grade went down by Rs 7 to Rs 211, B grade lost Rs 6 to Rs 194 and plus C grade up Rs 6 to Rs 185. Bangladesh's Gulab conceded Rs 3 to Rs 106 and Khushbu retreated by same amount to Rs 107. China's green 9575, however, rose by Rs 10 to Rs 60.
Dyes had a single variation in formation Taiwan violet F3B 200 conceded Rs 25 to Rs 390.
