Hesco introducing wireless system for improved performance

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) Chief Executive Brig. Mohammad Ali Khan has said that Hesco is introducing wireless system to improve the performance of its operation division.
Addressing an open kutchery at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Stadium, Latifabad Unit No. 8, on Wednesday, he said this would help remove public complaints about power failure without any delay.
He said the wireless system would be started from Hyderabad and the newtork will be soon completed throughout the Hesco region.
He said the wireless system would keep the Hesco staff on their toes and the consumers' complaints about power failures will be removed within the minimum possible time.
The Hesco chief said that the action initiated for the recovery of outstanding dues had yielded positive results and claimed that there was an increase of 60 percent to 70 percent in the collection of revenue as compared with the preceding years.
He said all efforts were being made to recover Hesco's dues at the earliest to overcome the deficit of the organisation.
To redress public grievances on the spot he had made it a point to hold open kutcheries in all the districts of Hesco's region.
The Hesco chief said the bulk of complaints pertained to wrong and excess billings were removed on the spot.
He, however, warned that those who failed to pay their genuine bills would be dealth with according to law.
The Hesco chief executive earlier heard the complaints of the consumers and directed the concerned SDOs to redress their grievances summarily.
During the open kutcheries, the SDOs, had set up counters for correction of bills and permission for instalments.
