KARACHI: Justice Shabbir Ahmed, Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATCs) on Tuesday dismissed an application filed by MNA Ejaz Shafi and his wife as "infructuous".

M. Ilyas Khan, special public prosecutor appeared for the state while none appeared for the applicant who sought meeting with Mian Nawaz Sharif, main accused in the alleged October 12 plane hijacking case during Eid days.

The same court remanded accused Mushtaq Ahmed to the custody of TPX police till January 15.

Accused Mushtaq was booked in alleged abduction case of Mujahid (5).

The same court also remanded accused Khalid and Sayeed to judicial custody till January 15.

The accused were booked by Buffer Zone police station on alleged charge of snatching a Suzuki Pick-up laden with cloth from complainant Abdul Qayyum.ÑAPP
