China foreign exchange market closed for holiday
SHANGHAI: The China Foreign Exchange Trade System, the national foreign exchange market, was closed on Friday for the New Year holiday.
Trading will resume on Monday, January 3.
China's yuan finished the year at 8.2799 to one dollar on Thursday, down marginally from 8.2794 on Wednesday.
Dealers said the yuan was expected to hold to a range of 8.2790-8.2800 next week.-Reuters
