PSC vice chairman's death condoled

KARACHI: The Pakistan Shippers' Council (PSC) has condoled the demise of Suleman Hashmi, who was its vice-chairman.

A PSC press release issued here Friday said that Hashmi was associated with the council for the last 15 years and was the main motivating force in running its affairs. His rich experience in shipping sector was instrumental in the success of various projects of PSC. His association with several international organizations like UNDP, UNESCAP, IMTQA, and the World Bank enabled the PSC to have international exposure.

The Pakistan Shippers' Council will be very much missing the services of a great expert and the vacuum created by his untimely death will be very difficult to fill, the press release said.
