HYDERABAD: The office bearers of Hyderabad Organisation of Small Traders have said that frequent bomb blast in Hyderabad spoke volumes for the inefficiency and failure of the administration and police in controlling terrorist activities in the city.

In a joint statement, Zakir-bin-Zahid, Turab Ali, Aziz Sambhri, Mohammad Yahya, said that it was the primary duty of the government to protect the life and property of the people but it had failed to control terrorist activities.

They said that instead of making sincere efforts in this regard, out dated methods were being adopted.

They said Hyderabad was in the grip of terrorists, the business community and the people were suffering from a sense of insecurity and fear.

They said that only two days earlier the administration had held a mock bomb explosion rehearsal and added that bomb explosion in the train was slap on the face of administration and police.

They said the terrorists were fully aware of the insensitivity and indifferent attitude of the administration and police that is why they were engaged in their activities with complete impunity.

They demanded of the Chief Executive to sack the Hyderabad administration and appoint some responsible officers to control terrorism.
