Gram sector rise sharply
on grain markets

KARACHI: Gram sector was revised on the higher side on Monday, while some variations were also marked elsewhere on the seed and grain markets.
On the gram sector, gram imported rose sharply to be quoted at Rs 1960 and Rs 2,000, gram garda rose by Rs 110 to Rs 2020 and better type up by Rs 2060, yellow peas rose by Rs 35 to Rs 1275 and better type rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1300, dal yellow peas rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1400 and Rs 1425, beetle I rose by Rs 60 to Rs 2110 and better type up Rs 40 to Rs 2140, fifty-fifty up by Rs 90 to Rs 2040 and Rs 2080 and gram dal Punjab up by Rs 50 to Rs 2150 to Rs 2200.
Irri 9 Sindh new was quoted down at Rs 975, Irri 6 Sindh new down by Rs 15 to Rs 775 and better type lost 25 to Rs 800, and super basmati new better type gained Rs 25 to Rs 2250.
Cotton cakes shed Rs 5 to Rs 355 and better type lost Rs 20 to Rs 360.
Rapeseed Nawabshah rose by Rs 10 both types to Rs 590 to Rs 600, Dadu's up by Rs 20 both types to Rs 520 to Rs 540 and cakes rose by Rs 3 to Rs 180 and better type up by Rs 2 to Rs 185.
