One killed, 11 injured in Faisalabad bomb explosion

Faisalabad: Mohammed Ibrahim, a foreman, was killed, while 11 passers-by including a woman sustained serious injuries in a bomb explosion here on Saturday afternoon.

The one-lb time bomb which exploded at 2.40 pm, was planted on a by-cycle, abandoned by an unidentified person in the busiest Jhang Bazar near Darbar Lasuri Shah.

The DIG Faisalabad, SSP and the deputy commissioner and other officers reached the spot and arranged immediate shifting of the blast victims to the Divisional Headquarter Hospital and the Allied Hospital. Three of the injured were in a precarious condition.
