Kashmir Day observed around world

ISLAMABAD: The Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed in other countries including South Korea, Turkey, Hong Kong, Melaysia, Indonesia and Turkmenistan.

A special function was held at Pakistani Embassy in Seoul, capital of South Korea, which was attended by diplomats, mediamen, academics and the Pakistani community.

Speaking on the occasion, Pakistani ambassador Tariq Usman Haider urged the international community to play its role in ending Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

In Turkmenistan, Pakistani mission in Ashkabad organised a function to mark the day.

Addressing the gathering Pakistan's ambasador Babar Malik highlighted the genesis and history of Kashmir and urged the world community to play its part in ending the sufferings of the Kashmiri people. APP
