IBP course on Secured Bank lending on 15th

KARACHI: The Institute of Bankers, Pakistan, is holding a two-day course on "Secured Bank lending and documentation" on February 15-16, 2000, at Karachi, according to a press release issued by Institute of Bankers on Thursday.

The course has been planned in view of its importance for banks and financial institutions whose profitability largely depends on sound and secured lending decisions.

The course aims at providing the participants with an opportunity to understand the principles of good lending, identify and mitigate associated risks and strengthen their skills in perfection of securities and legal documentation.

Barrister Mehmood Y. Mandviwalla, Mandviwalla and Zafar, Associate and Legal Consultants, Akbar A. Habib, Executive Vice President, United Bank Limited and Asrar H. Siddiqui, Deputy General Manager, Bank Al-Habib Limited have been invited to speak on the course.

The course is designed for all those who are associated with credit and documentation.
