Advisory board in Health Ministry constituted

ISLAMABAD: An Advisory Board has been constituted in Ministry of Health to advise formation of policies and their efficiant implementation.

The board will work under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr Abdul Malik Kasi, it was officially announced here on Wednesday.

The members of the board will work on honorary basis, but the government will undertake to arrange TA/DA for them whenever necessary.

The secretariat of the board will be established in the Ministry of Health to be headed by International Health DDG who will act as member secretary of the board.

The members of the board have been taken from all the four provinces included Professor Naseer-ud-Din Azam Khan, Peshawar, Professor Ashfaq (Retd) Principal Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Maj. Gen. Akhtar Ali Qureshi (Retd), PMRC former chairman, Islamabad, Maj. Gen C.M. Anwar (Retd), Rawalpindi, Professor Mumtaz, Principal King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Professor SAR Gardezi, Lahore, Professor Mohammad Ali Ansari, Karachi, Prof Adeeb Rizvi, Kidney Centre Karachi, Arbab Ghulam Rasool, Bolan Medical College, Quetta and Dr. Farooq Ismail, Sindh Homeopathic, Hyderabad.
