20000228Nepra to hear Lesco petition today

LAHORE: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) will start hearing of a petition on Monday, filed by Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), regarding powers for distribution of electricity.

The hearing will be held in the auditorium of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, said a press release issued by Nepra on Sunday night.

The proceedings will continue till 28th of March. Abdul Rashid Kakar, Adviser, Nepra, will act as Presiding Officer during the course of the proceedings. Acting Chairman Nepra Sardar Mohammad Sharif Khan and other experts will also attended the proceedings.
