Ehtesab case against Hakim adjourned

LAHORE: An Ehtesab Court adjourned to March 8 the proceedings in a case against former MNA Hakim Ali Zardari.

The special prosecutor contended before the court that the respondent, being the father-in-law of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, obtained a piece of land from the National Tourism Corporation for a model village.

He also got huge amount from Pakistan State Oil for installation of a petrol pump on the land obtained for establishing model village, but he neither used the land nor the amount received in this regard for the purpose.

The prosecutor was still on his feet when the court adjourned the proceedings.
