CDD's national debate session today

KARACHI: The national debate session of the Centre for Development and Democracy (CDD) will be addressed by Sardar Ataullah Mengal, Aitzaz Ahsan and Aftab Shaikh at a local hotel on Saturday, a press release said here on Friday.

The national debate was launched by former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Sajjad Ali Shah on December 7, 1999, whereas the second session was participated by Federal Interior Minister Moin-Uddin Haider, former governor of Sindh Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim and Reformers Secretary General Nazim F. Haji on February 6, 2000.

The CDD has started a series of discussion programme on national issues to mobilise public opinion and to generate discussions to find out possible solutions to immediate issues of national concern.
