Grain market
picks up pace
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: A couple of changes were marked on the seed and grain market where trading activity accelerated on Thursday.
On the cereals side urad Punjab rose by Rs 5 to Rs 2,440 while better type lost Rs 63 to Rs 2,500.
Irri 9 Punjab old was quoted at Rs 1,350 and Rs 1,400, Irri 9 Punjab old better type rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1,200 while inferior type stayed put at Rs 1,075. Irri 9 Sindh new inferior type gained Rs 10 to Rs 990 while better type rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1,025.
