DUBAI: Gold and jewellery buyers in Dubai will have an opportunity to win a mega raffle prize of 25-kg of the precious yellow metal, five consolation prizes of 200-gm of gold each, apart from the daily prize of 1-kg of gold as part of the gold and jewellery group's Dubai city of gold draw attractions during the forthcoming Dubai Shopping Festival starting March 1.

The gold promotion during DSF 2000 will be the world's biggest gold draw offering a total of 57-kg of gold in prizes.

"The total raffle prizes have been jacked up this year, particularly the final bumper draw prize of 25-kg, from the previous 10-kg, on the last day of the festival, to offer more value-added benefit to customers". Gold and Jewellery Group Chairman Tawfique Abdullah said.

The buyers of every 500 dirhams worth of gold and jewellery will be entitled to a free raffle coupon for Dubai city of gold draw qualifying them to win one kg of gold that day as well as entitling them to be part of the March 31 mega draw of 25-kg of gold.ÑPPI
