CBR reshuffles 14 top officials of IT group

ISLAMABAD: The Central Board of Revenue has transferred fourteen top officials of Income Tax group with immediate effect, says a notification on Wednesday.

The following officers of Income Tax (BS-19 and BS-20) have been given new assignments:

Muhammad Ilyas Sheikh, Central Board of Revenue, Islamabad, has been transferred as Director (Enquiries) Enquiry Wing CBR, Karachi;

Malik Bashir Ahmed, Director (Enquiries) Enquiry Wing CBR, Karachi, has been posted as Commissioner of Income Tax, Zone-B, Karachi;

Ehsanul Haq, Commissioner of Income Tax, Sahiwal Zone, has been given new assignment as Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-I) Faisalabad;

Javed Athar, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-I), Faisalabad, has been transferred as Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-II), Faisalabad;

Sultan Ahmed, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-VII), Karachi, has been posted as Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-V) Karachi;

Javed Tahir Butt, Chief CBR, Islamabad, has been posted as Commissioner of Income Tax Sahiwal Zone, Sahiwal;

Shahid Fawad Addl. Director Directorate of Tax Withholding, Karachi, has been posted as Addl. Director of Intelligence and Investigation (Direct Taxes), Karachi;

Shahid Azam Khan, Addl. Director Directorate of Tax Withholding, Lahore, has been given new assignment at Eastern Region, Lahore;

Amjad Jamshed Secretary CBR, Islamabad, has been posted to Southern Region Karachi;

Muhammad Irshad, Secretary CBR, Islamabad, has been posted to Northern Region, Islamabad;

Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah, Secretary CBR, Islamabad, has been given new assignment at Central Region Multan;

Muhammad Shaheen Aziz Niazi, Secretary CBR, Islamabad, has been given new assignment at Corporate Region, Karachi;

Tariq Mahmood Pasha, Inspecting Addl. Commissioner of Income Tax, Northern Region, Islamabad, has been transferred as Secretary CBR, Islamabad, and Ejaz Asad Rasool, Inspecting Addl. Commissioner of Income Tax, Central Region, Multan, has been posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Training (Income Tax), Karachi.
