Caltex holds

golf tournament

KARACHI: The 18th Caltex golf tournament was held at the Karachi Golf Club on February 20. Over 180 golfers vied for the Caltex Trophy. Lt. Cdr. Ansar Mahmood with a score of 72 gross lifted the trophy. In the senior's gross category S. M. Salim was the winner, while Ms. Saba Iqbal won the ladies gross event.

In the net category Col. Hasan Rafi won the amateur, Gulzar Zaidi the senior's event and Mrs. Naureen Malik was the winner of the ladies event.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Governor of Sindh Air Marshal Azim Daudpota (Retd) appreciated Caltex's role in promoting sports in Pakistan.

Caltex managing director Arshad Nasar reiterated his commitment to fulfil Caltex's social responsibilities as a good corporate citizen. Caltex is also the official sponsor of the Pakistan Olympic Team.ÑPR
