Across the board changes in gram items on seed, grain markets

KARACHI: Gram sector items were revised across the board while elsewhere sporadic variations were marked on Monday.

Gram imported rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1,900 and better type rose by Rs 30 to Rs 1,950. Gram garda rose by Rs 20 both types to Rs 2,040 and Rs 2,080. Beetle I rose by Rs 100 both types to Rs 2,260 and Rs 2,300. Dal beetle was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2,500 and better type rose by Rs 20 to Rs 2,520. Fifty-fifty rose by Rs 60 to Rs 2,100 and better type was up by same amount to Rs 2,140. Gram dal Punjab inferior rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2,225 and better type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2,275.

Irri-9 Sindh new inferior rose by Rs 30 to Rs 980 and better type rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,010. Irri-6 Sindh new inferior was up by Rs 10 to Rs 810 and better type rose by same amount to Rs 835.

Sugar inferior gained Rs 10 to Rs 1,955 but better type stayed put at Rs 1,970. Khandsari rose sharply inferior type by Rs 300 to Rs 2,100 and better type rose by Rs 200 to Rs 2,300.
