KARACHI: Sindh Governor Azim Daudpota has appreciated the city builders' efforts for meeting the housing requirement of Karachi by providing 90,000 housing units per year to citizens, a press release said on Saturday.

He asked the members of the Association of Builders and Developers (Abad) to co-operate with the government in solving the problems of Katchi Abadis.

The Abad maintain's still there is a shortage of 6.25 million housing units and the annual rate of increase in demand is 150,000 units.
