RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 64,415 tonnes of cargo, including 40,023 tonnes of import and 24,392 tonnes of export, during the last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled 38,915 tonnes was dry cargo and 25,500 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Wednesday are: Venus, Red Azelea, X-press Dhaulagiri and Trade Fast.

The ships expected to sail on Wednesday are: Ponl Pemba, X-press Dhaulagiri and Swat.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 24,173 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 20,797 tonnes wheat, 92 tonnes LPG and 3,284 tonnes chemical was handled during last 24 hours in addition to 720 container (TEUs).

Nur Jambo, Oinoussian and Pro Nedlloyed Unity were expected to sail on Tuesday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Andino Park, Bahagia, Eiren and Bunga Siantang.
