Karachi PPP meeting today

KARACHI: A meeting of the Karachi Division PPP will be held at the peoples Secretariat on Wednesday which would be chaired by PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro. Meanwhile, the president and secretary-general of PPP Karachi Division, Taj Haider and Haji Muzaffar Shijra, have expressed solidarity with the journalist community in its demand for the formation of the 7th wage board for the employees of newspapers and news agencies.ÑAPP

KARACHI: Liaquat Ali and Allah Dino Shaikh were elected General Secretary and President of High Court Advocate's Clerks Association (HCACA) in the election held on January 29. The other office-bearers are Mohammed Ibrahim (Vice President), Mohammed Azam (Joint Secretary), Mohammed Hussain (Press Secretary) and Moosa Raza.ÑAPP

KARACHI: Javed Iqbal Zia and Sayyid Mansoob Hasan were on Tuesday elected as chairman and secretary respectively of the Karachi Branch Council (KBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) for the year 2000. Mushtaq Ahmed Madraswala was elected as the vice-chairman of KBC.ÑAPP
