All trains coming

from North to

stop at Landhi

and Drigh Road

KARACHI: All down trains to Karachi have been allowed stoppage at Landhi and Drigh Road railway stations.

The deputy Divisional Superintendent (Passenger, Freight and Trade), Ashfaq Khattak, told APP on Thursday that this decision has been taken to facilitate the incoming passengers.

He said this would enable the passengers of Landhi, Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Federal B Area, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad etc. to easily reach their respective places instead of getting down at Karachi Cantonment Station and there face the fleecing tactics of taxi drivers.

Moreover, he said, this would also reduce congestion of passengers at Cantonment Station because half of the train will be emptied at Landhi and Drigh Road Stations.ÑAPP
