Musharraf to visit Railways headquarters tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf will visit Railways headquarters, Lahore, on Friday to evaluate the performance of Pakistan Railways and examine its future plan.

He will be given detailed briefing on the working of the department.

Pakistan Railways Chairman, Javed Ashraf told APP here on Wednesday that various steps have been taken to bring the department out of financial crisis, as well as to improve its efficiency.

He said he is determined to eliminate corruption from the department, making it service-oriented and profitable. APP
