QUETTA: Pishin Scouts during a patrol recovered 503-kg of hashish from general area of Lewa Darga, close to the Pak-Afghan border.

Col Mohammad Asif Khan, Commandant Pishin Scouts, received an information that a large quantity of narcotics was being smuggled from Afghanistan to Pakistan via the Lewa Darga area.

A patrol party headed by Major Tanveer Shahab was sent to the area. The party succeeded in recovering 503-kg of hashish.

A case has been registered against unidentified smugglers. Further investigations are in progress.ÑAPP
