clash between

India, Pakistan

BANGKOK: Secretary General All Parties Hurriet Conference (AJK Chapter) G. M. Safi has feared a nuclear clash between India and Pakistan owing to the irresponsible behaviour of the Indian leadership.

He observed that a war between India and Pakistan, if breaks out would have a domino effect and engulf other parts of the world also.

He was addressing a large gathering of Pakistani and Thai Muslims here on Sunday.

He urged the world powers to take notice of the expansionist designs and hegemonistic ambitions of India and play their role in averting a nuclear war between the two South Asian states.

He said all the Asian countries need to step up their efforts to make Asia a cradle of peace.

He urged the Kashmiris settled in different parts of the world including Thailand to accelerate their collective efforts towards bringing the brutal atrocities in the held Kashmir to a halt.

He said the repression and the massive scale carnage of the Kashmiri people has worsened the situation in occupied Kashmir. He lambasted India for illegally detaining prominent APHC leaders under the draconian Public Safety Act.

He lamented that the 0.7 million Indian occupation troops have been given 'license to kill' and are engaged in an unprecedented orgy of death and destruction in occupied Kashmir.

The APHC leader said the unprovoked Indian firing from across the Line of Control is also at its peak. He urged the world community to play a meaningful role in bringing the Indian aggression to an end.ÑPPI
