4 killed, 16 hurt as bus plunges into ditch

PESHAWAR: Four persons died and 16 others received injuries when a passenger bus plunges into a deep ditch while negotiating a sharp turn near Landikotal in Khyber Agency on Sunday afternoon.

The bus (KT: 2617) was heading towards Landikotal from Peshawar (Bara).

The driver lost the control of the steering due to over-speeding while taking a sharp turn near Ali Masjid near Landikotal.

Those killed were identified as Sher Mast of Gandi (Jamrud) and three Afghan nationals Khalid Khan, Munir Khan and Gilla Khan.

The injured have been rushed to different hospitals of Peshawar in precarious conditions. APP
