RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 41,775 tonnes of cargo, including 27,237 tonnes of import and 14,538 tones of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 16,862 tonnes was dry and 24,913 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Sunday are: Uni Patriot, Halga Wehr and Kaghan.

The ships expected to sail on Saturday were: Sun Crystal, Bing He, Atlantic Trader, Kota Wangi, Hammurabi and Chesa Peak City.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 84,061 tonnes comprising 80,454 tonnes imports and 3,607 tonnes export was handled during last 24 hours.

Papa Yiannis, Axion-I and Astro Pegasos were expected to sail on Saturday. Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-I, Agia Sofia, Harmony Bove, Fabian Schulte and Talana.

Agia Sofia and Fabian Schulte were expected to take berth at multi-purpose terminal and Qasim international container terminal of Port Qasim on Saturday.
