Badr-B may be
launched in April
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's second experimental satellite Badr-B is likely to be launched in April this year.
According to Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) sources, the satellite will be of 70 kgs and its life in space will be of two to three years.
It will be launched from Baikonour Cosmodrome, Kazakhistan, through Russian Satellite launching vehicle.
Badr-B has been designed and developed by using the data of Badr-I. The first satellite Badr-I remained in orbit for four months and it was a successful mission.ÑAPP
