Export Business - Grain/oilseeds complex

CHICAGO: Grain and oilseed export tenders, results and market information as reported by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and private export sources.

WHEAT SALE : Egypt bought 105,000 tonnes of U.S. hard and soft wheat and between 52,000 and 60,000 tonnes of Australian hard wheat at prices ranging from $117.90 to $135.50 per tonne C&F, European grain traders said on Wednesday.

Egypt bought 35,000 tonnes of U.S. soft wheat at $117.90 per tonne C&F for February 20-29 shipment, they said. It also bought two 35,000-tonne cargoes of U.S. hard wheat, one at $129.75 per tonne C&F for February 20-29 shipment and one at $130.25 per tonne C&F for shipment March 20-30.

Egypt also bought between 52,000 and 60,000 tonnes of Australian hard wheat at $135.50 per tonne C&F for March 1-10 shipment, traders said.

Traders said the purchases were part of a tender by the state Holding Company for Food Industries. The company said earlier on Wednesday it was tendering for a total of 220,000 tonnes of U.S. or Australian wheat.

WHEAT SALE: South Korea's Cheil Jedang Corp and Dongah Flour Mills Co Ltd have jointly bought 20,800 tonnes of U.S. No.1 wheat from Japanese trading house Marubeni Corp via tenders on Wednesday, traders said.-Reuters
