Differences exist
between India, US
ISLAMABAD: The Indian officials are not impressed with the statements of US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright about visit of President Bill Clinton to India, All India Radio (AIR) quoted Indian daily 'Times of India' as saying.
An Indian official said difference of opinion certainly exists between the two countries on some issue. At the same time, he said we will make progress on issues of common interests.
He said terrorism is an issue on which both India and United States are collaborating. Same was the situation about trade and investment.
Another official said we do not view President Clinton's visit to India in the context of resolving only some specific issues rather we see it from the aspect of promoting ties between the two countries.ÑAPP
