Inam-ul-Haque named foreign secretary
ISLAMABAD: The government on Wednesday announced the appointment of Inam-ul-Haque, Pakistan's permanent representative to United Nations, as foreign secretary.
Inam-ul-Haque was born in November 1940 and held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistani missions abroad.
Inam-ul-Haque, who has done Master's in English Literature, joined Foreign Service in 1965.
According to Foreign Office press release Shamshad Ahmad, the incumbent foreign secretary, is appointed as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York.
He was born in December 1941 and holds degrees of B.A. (Hons) and M.A. APP
